Non-Placement of Trailers on Yellowstone

ORDINANCE NO. 204

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR NON-PLACEMENT OF ANY NONPERMANENT DWELLING OR STRUCTURE ON YELLOWSTONE HIGHWAY, BETWEEN 5TH STREET AND YELLOWSTONE HIGHWAY SOUTH TO C STREET AND YELLOWSTONE HIGHWAY, WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF GLENDO, WYOMING.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF GLENDO, PLATTE COUNTY, WYOMING, THAT:

Section 1: There shall be no trailer house, mobile home, tent, motor home, or any other non-permanent residence or business structure set up on Main Street, otherwise known as Yellowstone Highway, between 5th Street to C Street, within the corporate limits of the Town of Glendo, Wyoming, except in the existing designated trailer parks.

Existing structures of this description shall not be replaced upon their removal from their present site on Yellowstone Highway within this area.

Section 2: All ordinance and portions of ordinances of the Town of Glendo in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.

Section 3: This ordinance and various parts thereof are hereby declared to be severe. If a section, sub-section, sentence, clause, work, or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, such ruling shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion of this ordinance.

Section 4: Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, or refuses to comply with any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined a sum of not more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) for each offense.
